Roses are Red, Violets are Blue

I love Babies

And Jesus does too

One of the greatest joys of being pastor of a church is holding new born babies. I can't tell you how excited I get to hold these bundles of life! I love babies! I know the feeling I have kissing their heads and caressing their toes and fingers, wow! Can you imagine how God feels about them? Scripture started flooding my mind about children. We are HIs handiwork. (Eph 2:10) Children are a heritage from the Lord. (Psalms 127:3) God knit them together in their mothers womb. (Psalms 139:13) Jesus would make statements like, let the little children come to me. You must enter the kingdom of heaven with a childlike faith. He gives dire warnings about mistreating and leading the little ones a stray. As we just reviewed a small sampling of scriptures about children, I'm quite confident Jesus loves babies and I do too.
