Eldering an Elder / Communion

I was up early in the living room attempting to remember a dream I had. I was contemplating if I needed caffeine to coax my body into cooperating with the early hour when I received a text. Yes, Connie (my wife) text me from the bedroom and asked me as her pastor, elder and husband to come anoint her with oil and to take communion with her. What a privilege to declare (Psalms 107:2) over her and in agreement with her to what the Bible clearly states! (James 5:14) So in this early morning hour it was a great honor to elder an elder. The blood of Jesus is powerful!! (Rev 12:11)
